Star Wars: The Opening Pitch

With all of the Star Wars mania, I decided to take a look at the movies’ opening crawls and put a baseball spin on Episode IV: A New Hope. Here is Star Wars: The Opening Pitch.

It is a night with intense competition. The home team, striking from their own dugout, have won the first game against the evil visiting team.

During the game, players from the home team managed to steal secret pitching signs to the visitor’s ultimate weapon, the ace pitcher, a giant man with enough power to destroy an entire lineup.

Pursued by the visitor’s sinister players, the manager races into the home dugout, custodian of the secret signs which can save his lineup and restore victory to the home team…
